Language Protocols

Language Protocols are WILD LAB's reusable learning experiments for returning to study, building listening habits, using stories, and making language learning easier to continue.

THE CORE APPROACH

A protocol is a method you can return to.

A WILD LAB protocol is not a generic lesson or a rigid study schedule. It is a repeatable method built from real learning experience, testing, failure, adjustment, and continued use.

The goal is not perfect performance every day. The goal is to create a reliable way to restart, continue, and make progress under different levels of time, energy, and motivation.

What WILD LAB tests

Language Recovery

Methods for restarting after fatigue, interruption, or loss of motivation.

Grammar and Real Input

Ways to connect grammar knowledge with listening, reading, stories, and actual use.

Anime and Story Memory

Experiments using characters, scenes, emotion, and narrative as memory anchors.

Listening and Shadowing

Repeatable routines for improving recognition, rhythm, pronunciation, and response speed.

Multilingual Learning

Comparisons and methods developed through Japanese, English, Spanish, and French.

AI-Assisted Study

Workflows that use AI for practice, organization, feedback, and material creation without replacing human judgment.

LANGUAGE THROUGH STORIES

Language through CHIKA

CHIKA will also serve as a space for experimenting with language through characters, dialogue, stories, animation, and interactive experiences.

As the project grows, selected scenes and materials may be adapted into multilingual learning experiments.
